Aquinnah Headwaters Q+A

Aquinnah Headwaters Q+A

Join Kinship Heals for an evening of conversation about the critical need for culturally grounded services and the inspiring vision behind the Aquinnah Headwaters project.

While many people are aware of the importance of community care, the specific needs of Indigenous communities often remain unseen by the broader public. This event is a welcoming, educational space for non-Native community members and allies to learn about the vital work Kinship Heals does to support healing, safety, and wellness through a uniquely Indigenous lens.

What to expect

During this two-hour gathering, guests will learn how the Aquinnah Headwaters project responds to community needs in a way that is deeply rooted in Wampanoag values.

The evening will feature:

  • An engaging Q+A with Kinship Heals Executive Director and a host

  • A visual presentation (video and slideshow)

  • Delicious Wampanoag-inspired appetizers prepared by Quitsa Kitchen.

Why attend?

This evening is entirely focused on education, connection, and sharing our vision for the future. You will leave with a much stronger understanding of culturally specific care and discover meaningful ways you can stand with us—whether that is by supporting the Aquinnah Headwaters project through the local permitting process, or by exploring our informational packets to learn how to support the mission long-term.

Registration is required to attend. Please reserve your spot today, and feel free to share this event with friends or neighbors who may be interested in learning more!
